Seminar Overview

This seminar is intended for intermediate clinicians, and those individuals who have completed at least Phase 1 of the Brainspotting Training. Should you feel that despite not having completed the Brainspotting Training or being a beginning therapist you still want to attend, please reach out to me so that we can discuss if this training will be appropriate for you.

Brainspotting works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of challenging symptoms. It is simultaneous a form of diagnosis and treatment, enhanced with BioLateral sound. Brainspotting identifies activated eye positions designated as Brainspots. Located through either one or both eyes.  Brainspots are observed from either the “Inside Window” of the clients felt sense and/or the “Outside Window” of the clients’ reflexive responses (i.e., blink, eye twitches or wobbles, pupil dilation, quick breaths and subtle body shifts). Attendees will learn how to modify the Brainspotting model, as well how to implement other tools and techniques such as Ego State Therapy, to facilitated working with individuals with complex trauma. Attention will be given to the utilization and integration of these tools into attendees ongoing work with clients.

We hope that you will join us and learn more about how work with individual of all ages who are struggling with attachment trauma and/or complex trauma as well as individuals whose Ego States may be find change difficult.
