Jonathan presented last fall on psychodynamic practice with LGBTQ+ patients for the Anatolian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists of Turkey, NASW NJ and the NJ Society for Clinical Social Work. He particularly enjoyed presenting to the Turkish therapists. Each sentence Jonathan delivered was translated into Turkish, and each comment from the audience, into English. This slowed down the interchange and allowed for deeper intimacy.
