I learned to be a therapist from the ground up, sitting in both chairs, learning a range of skills and doing advanced clinical study. I can also draw on 10 years experience in dealing with physical and developmental disabilities, 25 years in the creative arts, and a lifetime of respect for the power and struggles that go hand in hand with the pursuit of personal growth.
It is my style to roll up my sleeves and get right to work, listening carefully for what matters to each person, choosing among different ways to address each need. I believe utterly in the authenticity and effectiveness of therapy. I see its impact in my clients' eyes, in their postures, in their lives, and I trust its present and future value to them.
