It's no surprise that the old phrase "You are what you eat" seems to have found a new place in our current scientific research in the field of nutrition and mental health.

This article by Richard Schiffman, cites evidence that our mental health is also affected by what we eat and that an inadequate diet can contribute to depression and may be linked to other degenerative brain diseases as well.
