Healing the Fragmented Self with Maggie Phillips — September 21–29, 2019

I would like to invite you to an intensive training in Ego-State Therapy scheduled for September 21 - 29, 2019. I'm excited about this opportunity to experience the first Ego-State Therapy certification program in the U.S., especially since the leader, Maggie Phillips is a phenomenal master teacher who has been a leader in the field of Ego State Therapy and has worked extensively with other masters in the field of experimental therapies including Peter Levine, whose work she has incorporated into this program. Maggie has been instrumental in the development of multiple EST programs in Europe and other areas of the world and is excited to finally be replicating this effort in the US.

During such a divisive time in our country's history, I am grateful that Maggie is offering an approach that focuses on wholeness, healing inner conflicts many of which were created by developmental and attachment trauma. This approach offers an open and flexible means of addressing your client's internal systems and is a core element of the work I do with my clients.
Ego State Therapy Training September 21–29, 2019

If you live in the U.S., this EST Intensive Training, which is the cornerstone of certification, is one of the most efficient and effective ways to receive training in this modality.

This inaugural seminar can be taken as a whole (all 9 days), or a la carte.
• September 21-23 Foundations in Ego-State Therapy: This course is designed for those who have not completed live training in EST or who want to update their skills.

• September 25-26 Intermediate EST: Demonstrations & Consultation: This workshop is focused on participants who want to evaluate their skills and explore Ego-State Therapy in depth within a small group setting. Learning will include faculty demonstrations and clinical discussions about how to apply this approach to a wide spectrum of clients. Includes a 1:1 meeting with faculty.

• September 27-29 Advanced EST: Somatic Ego-State Therapy®. This 3-day training will teach attendees how to find and work with somatic, preverbal, and nonverbal states to strengthen the self as well as unlock chronic symptoms.

Here is an opportunity to have a truly intensive training experience in the San Francisco Bay Area. The venue is 15 minutes from SFO airport and accommodations are available on-site on a first-come, first-served basis. For more details, including costs, and registration please visit Best Practices In Therapy. Early bird fees are in effect through July 31st. If you sign up now, you will lock in the lowest rate AND receive a powerful video bonus, "Working with Self-Fragmentation Using Specific Ego-State Approaches to Promote Wholeness and Relieve Emotional and Physical Pain" with Wendy Lemke and Maggie Phillips.

Why Study Ego-State Therapy?

• Ego-State Therapy has demonstrated success with complex relational trauma, dissociative disorders, and Dissociative Identity Disorder, as well as PTSD, anxiety, pain, depression, atypical conditions, and other less complex clinical problems.

• Unlike other "parts" models, EST is a client-focused approach which allows the inner family system to unfold with respect for the client's uniqueness. Labels and categories are not assigned to self-states. Emphasis is placed on teaching skills such as affect-regulation, safety and stabilization, and empathy and cooperation.

• Professionals who study Ego-State Therapy routinely offer feedback that it is often the "missing link" for clinical success with their most challenging clients, working deeply and effectively to resolve inner conflicts related to early attachment issues, early developmental problems that can restore and expand functioning, and resolution of somatic states connected < with abuse, neglect, and shock, and other kinds of trauma.
